Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Participant Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for fellows during and after the fellowship period.
- Facilitate regular check-ins, group discussions, and feedback sessions to monitor fellows’ progress and address challenges.
- Organize virtual and in-person engagement events, workshops, and meet-ups to strengthen connections among participants.
Post-Fellowship Activities:
- Develop and implement a structured plan for post-fellowship engagement.
- Support fellows in leveraging their training for community impact through tailored guidance and resources.
- Track and document fellows’ ongoing projects, successes, and contributions to their communities.
Alumni Network Building:
- Establish and nurture an alumni network for past fellows.
- Create opportunities for alumni to collaborate, share knowledge, and access professional development resources.
- Coordinate mentorship and peer-support programs within the network.
Community Management:
- Manage online platforms and forums to foster an active and inclusive community.
- Curate and share relevant content, resources, and opportunities with the community.
- Encourage active participation and collaboration among fellows and alumni.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Develop metrics to assess the effectiveness of engagement initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports on engagement activities, outcomes, and areas for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to inform future engagement strategies.
Collaboration and Advocacy:
- Work closely with program staff, trainers, and stakeholders to align engagement activities with program goals.
- Advocate for fellows’ needs and interests to internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and propose opportunities for additional funding or partnerships to enhance engagement efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Communication, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in community management, participant engagement, or program coordination.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Experience with virtual collaboration platforms and tools (e.g., Slack, WhatsApp, Zoom, etc.).
- Familiarity with social change, youth advocacy, or capacity-building programs is an advantage.

Location: Remote
