Jobberman launches Job Centres across three Nigerian states

In today’s rapidly evolving job market, the prevalent saying in the Nigerian clime, especially among young people is this, “there are no jobs anywhere.”  However, Jobberman launched job centres in Nigeria to help job seekers and employers meet physically and resolve these.

True to saying, finding the right employment opportunity can often feel like navigating a maze. Job seekers face countless challenges, from skill mismatches to limited access to career guidance. But what if there was a physical place where these barriers could be shattered, and opportunities could be matched with precision?

We are thrilled to introduce Job Centres—innovative hubs designed to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity. Welcome to the future of career development and job placement

Job centres in Nigeria is an initiative set to transform the job search landscape by providing a space for job seekers to access vacancies in their local governments and for employers to put up the vacancies.

What are Job Centres?

Job centres are essentially what the name suggests. A job centre as designed by Jobberman Nigeria, is a physical space where jobseekers can visit to find employment opportunities tailored to their skills, area of expertise and  interest.  Organisations and employers can also visit the job hubs to put up vacancies and open roles in order to find the right candidates.

It is important to note that job centres were launched in specific states only. At the moment, the job centres in Nigeria are in Bauchi, Katsina and Kaduna.

Why Create a Physical Job Centre?

You might be wondering why Jobberman Nigeria has launched physical places for job hunting and talent hunting especially since Jobberman already has a website for both job seekers and employers.

One of the major reasons for a physical job centre is to drive awareness about Jobberman and its offerings  in the launch states.

The launch states are states that are lacking in the digital infrastructure and awareness to facilitate connecting job seekers with employers.

The functions of the job centres revolve around the objectives of the initiative.

Objectives of the Job Centres Initiative

  1. Connect job seekers with suitable employment opportunities.
  2. Provide career guidance and counselling services including CV reviews.
  3. Facilitate the fulfilment of various roles for organisations and individuals.
  4. Support women, youth, graduates, interns, and blue-collar workers in their job search endeavours.
  5. Enhance partnerships with government agencies, private companies, and educational institutions to expand job placement opportunities.

Benefits of the Job Centres

For Jobseekers

  1. Easy access to support and guidance in job search including CV reviews.
  2. Opportunities to meet emp;loyers directly.
