Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow reports.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper bookkeeping procedures.
- Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cost analysis.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, PAYE, and other statutory remittances.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Support the development and implementation of financial policies and internal controls.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure accurate tax deductions.
- Utilize accounting software for financial data management and reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ICAN, ACCA, or other relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting, preferably within the real estate or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar ERP systems).
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
Remuneration: NGN 250,000 Gross
