Advisory Associate

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Head of Investment Banking and the CEO to originate, execute, distribute, and manage various financial advisory transactions and transaction processes in line with internal culture and global best practices;
• Develop recommendations for product offerings, private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and valuations.
• Conduct preparation and review of materials used in the financing of clients, including investment memoranda, management presentations, and pitchbooks
• Development of various types of financial models to represent and value debt and equity for mergers, acquisitions, and capital-raising transactions.
• Perform various valuation methods – comparable companies, precedents, and DCF.
• Develop recommendations for product offerings, private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and valuations.
• Develop relationships with new and existing clients in order to expand the business.
• Maintain a healthy distribution network and relationships supported by aggressive distribution infrastructure management and capabilities such as deal dataroom management, deal calls and deal book preparation and periodic circulations to network, etc.
• Perform due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of live transactions and manage them through to closing.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of working experience with verifiable investment banking or transaction management experience
• BSc in any numerate subject
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ICAN, and CFA will be a good great advantage
• Impeccable research, quantitative, and analytical skills, especially in explaining market events. Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel and VBA. Ability to organize and track overlapping tasks and assignments, with frequent priority changes. Strong financial modeling skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of deal structuring and closing principles.
• Excellent verbal and corporate written communication skills are necessary.
• Great relationship management skill

Remuneration: NGN 4.5 million - 8 million Gross Per Annum in Fixed and Variable.
