Job Summary

Our client is looking to hire a suitable AM Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will lead the company maintenance function in providing both a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities. You will be responsible for planning scheduling creation, overseeing the adherence and timely completion of work carried out, troubleshooting and repairing any piece of machinery to ensure its efficiency, and effectiveness and is safe for employees to use. You will manage the team on technical best practice and establish standard policies and procedures whilst also mentoring and leading the department and seek approval for all installation and repair activities completed by any of the maintenance team.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of a variety of electro-electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems are undertaken.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a high-performance maintenance team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value, and continuous improvements.
  • Monitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performance and record on the appropriate system.
  • Managing stock of supplies and equipment as regards electrical gadgets
  • Develop a planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedule with respect to electrical, ensure full preventive maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities, and lead the team to deliver effectively.
  • Audit and ensure compliance with the engineering data systems for decision-making
  • Optimize equipment according to standard procedure to enhance performance and product quality.
  • Maintain operation in accordance with any health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of staff and visitors.
  • Receiving engineering job requests/complaints from various departments/units and ensuring effective intervention and timely completion.
  • Any other task that may be assigned from time to time by the management.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree/ HND in Engineering or its equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience
  • Proven supervisory and technical skills
  • Proficiency in Ms. Office
  • Confident and good decision-making ability with attention to details
  • Must be highly recommended
  • COREN will be an added advantage


Remuneration: NGN 5,400,000 Annual
