Android Developer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain our Android mobile application with a focus on fintech features.
• Implement and optimize advanced Android features, ensuring smooth performance and responsiveness.
• Integrate our mobile application with external financial services, payment gateways, and APIs.
• Implement data encryption techniques to ensure the security and privacy of user data.
• Develop and maintain WebSockets functionality for real-time data streaming and communication.
• Stay up to date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and best practices, and apply them to enhance our application.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and other technical problems within the Android application.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure code quality and adherence to established standards.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create a visually appealing and user-friendly interface.
• Work closely with backend developers to define and implement APIs for seamless integration.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Android Developer with a focus on fintech applications.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin, Java, and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with advanced Android features such as custom views, animations, and performance optimization.
• Solid understanding of data encryption techniques and best practices for securing sensitive data in transit and at rest.
• Familiarity with WebSockets and real-time communication protocols.
• Experience integrating mobile applications with RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Knowledge of Android architecture components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room) and design patterns (MVVM, MVP).Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred:

• Experience working in the fintech industry or with financial applications.
• Familiarity with financial APIs, payment gateways, and security protocols (e.g., PCI-DSS).
