Application Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain user-friendly, innovative, and scalable applications to enhance customer engagement and experience.
• Develop and integrate cloud-based application services for improved data flow and synchronization with third-party services.
• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data analysts, and customer service teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to users and troubleshoot issues promptly.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in application development (mobile and web)
  
• Experience with front-end and back-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Python, or similar.
• Experience with web development frameworks (e.g Bootstrap, Laravel, Django, MVC, React Native).
• Knowledge of cloud-based services such as Google Cloud or Azure.
• Familiarity with digital farm management solutions, enterprise resource planning (ERP) and e-commerce platforms.
• Strong understanding of database systems (e.g MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Problem-solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address the unique challenges faced by our customers including smallholder farmers.
  
• Communication: Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello.
