Architect and ISO 9001 Intern

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing architectural drawings, plans, and designs using CAD and other design software.
• Support the design team in developing layouts, blueprints, and project specifications for ongoing construction projects.
• Collaborate with the Senior Architect to produce 3D models and renderings for presentation and client review.
• Conduct research and contribute to the selection of materials, structural elements, and sustainability features for project designs.
• Assist with site visits and assessments to ensure that designs are executed according to specifications.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of ISO 9001 documentation, including quality manuals, work instructions, and procedures related to architectural and construction projects.
• Participate in internal audits to assess compliance with ISO 9001 standards across different departments.
• Collect and analyze data related to non-conformances, corrective actions, and quality performance metrics.
• Support the QMS team in developing and implementing process improvements that enhance the efficiency and quality of construction and design activities.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure that architectural designs align with quality standards.
• Coordinate with the QMS team to ensure that quality control measures are in place during the design and construction phases.
• Participate in meetings and discussions about design revisions, project progress, and quality management updates.
• Help manage and track the progress of design projects, ensuring timelines are adhered to and that designs meet quality specifications.
• Assist in preparing documentation and reports for client presentations, internal reviews, and audits.
• Assist in preparing and organizing documentation for external ISO 9001 certification audits.
• Participate in meetings with external auditors and provide support in addressing queries related to design and construction quality.

Requirements:

• Must be a recent graduate
• Valid NYSC certifcate
• Minimum of Bsc. certificate in Architect or any related field
• Minimum of 1 year experience
