Assistant Site Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Assist the construction manager & project managers
• Ensure that standards of quality and safety are met
• Provide cost estimates for workstreams that he has been assigned to
• Oversee the daily management of projects
• Oversee the works of labourers and subcontractors as directed by the managers
• Ensure safety procedures
• Monitors the medical toolbox, and provides medical assistance when required
• Keeps a record of incident reports
• In charge of managing the site's cleanliness
• In charge of managing site security and security guards
• Review, identify any issues with, and update construction drawings if necessary
• Responsible for taking progress report pictures, uploading them to the designated location and also sharing relevant pictures for use in weekly progress reporting.
• Coordinate the project activities
• Monitor the construction site stores and stock keep. Stock-keeping inputs are to be added to weekly progress reporting.
• Writing and submitting weekly reports on site progress in Word document via email including updated pictures.
• Document and track payments to contractors and labourers

Requirements:

• Degree in construction management, civil engineering, or quantity surveying
• Quantity Surveyor professional qualification desirous
• Health and Safety qualifications required
• Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in this field
• Good spoken and written English language and able to deliver reports accurately.
• Able to use Autocad, Microsoft Office, Excel, and MS Project
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent management skills
