Associate Counsel

Responsibilities:

• Legal Research: Conducting comprehensive legal research for analysis and support.
• Contract Drafting and Review: Assisting in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
• Client Counseling: Providing legal advice on various issues to clients.
• Litigation Support: Supporting all aspects of litigation procedures.
• Regulatory Compliance: Monitoring and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Corporate Governance: Assisting with corporate governance matters.
• Due Diligence: Conducting due diligence for transactions.
• Intellectual Property: Supporting clients with IP protection and enforcement.
• Alternative Dispute Resolution: Assisting in dispute resolution outside litigation.
• Legal Training and Education: Providing legal training resources to clients and colleagues.

Requirements:

• BSc degree in Law
• Candidates should have relevant educational qualifications and at least 2 years of experience in relevant industries.
• Proven experience as a Legal Counsel in a business environment preferably.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures
• Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation
• Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies
• A high degree of professional ethics and integrity
• Good analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to draft clearly and concisely.
• Capacity to work independently and under pressure.
• Sound judgment and ability to analyze situations and information
• Outstanding communication skills
