Gabriel Sogolo & Co (Chartered Accountants) is a firm of Chartered Accountants & Tax Practitioners, that provide you with the opportunity to provide a range of assurance services, tax services, and business advisory services to a variety of organizations from small, fast-growing clients to large entities. As an Audit Trainee, you will work as part of a team of professionals providing audit, accountancy, and tax services and also helping to solve complex business issues from planning to execution.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist the senior with the planning of assignments
- Support the Audit Team in performing preliminary analytical reviews to identify risk areas.
- Assist in obtaining knowledge of a client through background and of its industry.
- Assist the team with evidence gathering to support findings from assignments/audits.
- Prepare accounting and auditing information from information/documents provided by clients.
- Collate and check that files have all the information required.
- Meet client and team deadlines for auditing, tax and other professional services
Requirements:
- B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Management Sciences, and Science-related disciplines.
- 1-2 years of experience with an audit firm will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and research skills
- Ability to organise and prioritize workload
- Ability to produce accurate and timely work
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Applies active listening skills – asks questions when necessary but makes basic assumptions when appropriate
- Demonstrates drive and commitment to self-development
- Takes ownership of assigned tasks
- Age: Not more than 30 years.
Remuneration: NGN 80,000 - 100,000
