Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Daily Baking Operations: Lead the preparation of bread from mixing ingredients to baking, ensuring consistency and excellence in every batch.
  • Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and food safety, ensuring compliance with all health regulations.
  • Innovate and Develop New Products: Collaborate on creating new recipes and products, especially as we plan to introduce pastries and other baked goods.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor ingredients and supplies, manage orders, and minimize waste through efficient stock control.
  • Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and supervise baking staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all baking equipment is well-maintained and operational, arranging repairs and replacements as needed.
  • Customer Engagement: Gather feedback directly from customers to refine and enhance our products.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of SSCE (Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination).
  • Proven experience as a baker or chef, preferably in a professional bakery setting.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Mastery of bread-baking techniques; experience with pastries is an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Creative flair with a keen eye for detail.
  • Solid understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
