Bakery Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the work of bakery staff, including bakers, pastry chefs, and cake decorators.
• Create work schedules, assign tasks, and ensure that production goals are met.
• Train new bakery employees on baking techniques, recipes, and food safety procedures.
• Monitor quality control standards to maintain consistency in product quality and presentation.
• Monitor administrative functions and client’s feedbacks
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering ingredients and supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized bakery environment, including equipment maintenance and sanitation practices.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and special orders in a friendly and professional manner.
• Collaborate with the bakery manager/director to develop new recipes, products, and promotions.
• Enforce health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all bakery staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to bakery team members.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a bakery setting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient measurements, and equipment operation.
• Excellent leadership, Managerial and team-building skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of inventory management and ordering processes.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
