Our client is a prominent online perfume retailer based in Preston, offering high-quality, affordable fragrances inspired by Arabian scents. With a passion for combining traditional aromas with modern notes, they bring the Middle East’s rich fragrance heritage to a global audience. We are seeking an ambitious and results-oriented Business Development Executive to fuel growth within their online perfume store. The ideal candidate will excel in identifying and seizing new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and expanding the customer base.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement growth strategies to drive revenue and market expansion.
- Identify and engage new sales channels, partnerships, and collaborations.
- Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support informed decision-making.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, tracking performance and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Partner with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility and campaign execution.
- Analyze sales data and offer insights to optimize business performance.
- Remain current with industry trends and market developments.
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Persuasive, negotiation skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Proven experience in business development or a similar role.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Resilience and motivation to handle challenges.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Strategic thinker with problem-solving capabilities.
- Interest in the perfume industry (desirable).
- Laptop for report generation and email communication.
- Reliable internet and power supply, with alternative options if needed.
- Clean and quiet workspace free from distractions (checked by recruitment partners).
- 2 years experience in a Sales/Business Developer role.
- Experience with online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay).
- Proficient in social media (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook).
- Understanding of digital marketing principles.
- Familiarity with perfume brands and market trends.
