Job Summary

We are looking to employ a driven and detail-oriented Business Development Manager to identify business growth opportunities and develop strategies to increase company sales. The business development manager's responsibilities include developing an in-depth knowledge of company offerings, pricing, and policies, and improving existing sales proposal

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for the sales team to achieve company sales goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify current and future market requirements, including regular visits to customers and non-customers.
  • Analyze potential partner relationships to expand the company's product lines and reach new markets.
  • Prepare quotations and technical proposals for customers to support the sales process.
  • Develop and implement marketing and sales plans to meet set goals and objectives, managing the Marketing Department Budget where applicable.
  • Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities, ensuring product quality and competitiveness.
  • Gather important market and customer feedback to inform product improvements and new product development, collaborating closely with Software Engineers.
  • Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working collaboratively with all departments to ensure successful execution.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the oil & gas space 
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or related fields, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to conduct market research and analyze market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team to achieve results.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience in product management and lifecycle management is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
