Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for the sales team to achieve company sales goals and objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify current and future market requirements, including regular visits to customers and non-customers.
- Analyze potential partner relationships to expand the company's product lines and reach new markets.
- Prepare quotations and technical proposals for customers to support the sales process.
- Develop and implement marketing and sales plans to meet set goals and objectives, managing the Marketing Department Budget where applicable.
- Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities, ensuring product quality and competitiveness.
- Gather important market and customer feedback to inform product improvements and new product development, collaborating closely with Software Engineers.
- Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working collaboratively with all departments to ensure successful execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the oil & gas space
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or related fields, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to conduct market research and analyze market trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team to achieve results.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience in product management and lifecycle management is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
