Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Business Development Manager to join our expanding team. In this role, you'll be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, building partnerships, and recruiting clients who can benefit from our solutions. You will play a pivotal role in our go-to-market strategy, focusing on customer acquisition and helping us shape the future.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities in the SMB segment.
  • Build strong relationships with potential clients and partners to foster trust and business growth.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to execute targeted campaigns.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Engage in consultative sales, understanding clients' unique challenges and positioning Payraty as the best solution.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities and provide accurate forecasts.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development, preferably within tech or SaaS companies.
  • Strong understanding of the needs of small and medium businesses in Nigeria and across Africa.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of building and maintaining relationships.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment, taking initiative and driving results independently.
  • Experience working with payroll or ERP solutions is a plus.
