Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities in the SMB segment.
- Build strong relationships with potential clients and partners to foster trust and business growth.
- Work closely with the marketing team to execute targeted campaigns.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Engage in consultative sales, understanding clients' unique challenges and positioning Payraty as the best solution.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities and provide accurate forecasts.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development, preferably within tech or SaaS companies.
- Strong understanding of the needs of small and medium businesses in Nigeria and across Africa.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of building and maintaining relationships.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment, taking initiative and driving results independently.
- Experience working with payroll or ERP solutions is a plus.
