We seek a dynamic Business Development Officer to lead our sales team in driving revenue growth and expanding market presence for our renewable energy products. The candidate will strategize to meet sales targets, cultivate client relationships, and stay ahead of market trends.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue goals and expand market share.
  • Identify emerging markets, customer segments, and partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align strategies and optimize campaigns.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, utilities, developers, and government agencies.
  • Negotiate contracts, address client concerns, and ensure high satisfaction.
  • Explore new business opportunities and attend industry events to enhance brand visibility.
  • Analyze competitor activity and market trends to refine sales approaches.
  • Monitor sales metrics, prepare performance reports, and utilize CRM tools for data-driven decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies.


Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years in sales, including 2+ years in renewable energy; proven track record in meeting/exceeding targets.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities; proficiency in CRM software and market analysis.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of renewable energy technologies, policies, and incentives
  • Travel: Willingness to travel around Nigeria.


Location: Abuja

Remuneration: NGN  200,000 Monthly + Commission
