We are seeking a Business Development/Sales Manager to join our team.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for business development, marketing, and fundraising strategy including building and maintaining professional relationships with hospitals, HMOs, organizations, private individuals, etc.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with individuals, startups, NGOs, and SMEs for the purpose of creating and strengthening business alliances that complement the organization’s core competencies and revenue center enhancement.
  • Managing business development activities entailing mapping of new market segments. Identifying and penetrating new profitable markets within Ibadan and environs as well as other neighboring states.
  • Negotiating and winning sales for the organization thereby contributing towards the achievement of team and departmental targets.
  • Organizing and participating in sales presentations aimed at pitching for business across pre-determined locations as required in the sales/marketing scorecard.
  • Management of new opportunities, including routine contact i.e. discern service concerns, forecast future activity, expand service offering, and explore new opportunities within existing clients/new clients.
  • Manage Revenue Targets for Domestic and international market opportunities.
  • Managing customer/client accounts, maintaining knowledge of key account status, and following up on outstanding invoices and receivables that are due.
  • Managing a team of market research, business research, Database building & management, business opportunity analysis, Lead generation, etc.
  • Ensuring existing and potential clients are offered professional and quality service to increase sales.
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of short and long-term strategic business goals.
  • Prepare overall marketing strategy together with partners, practice group leaders and senior business management.
  • Analyses market trends, and recommends changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback.
  • Prepare and manage the overall marketing and business development budget Relationship Management.
  • Identify, analyze, pursue, and report on business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
  • Develop and enhance business relationships fostering existing and new businesses and heightening awareness of the Group Management and Leadership.
  • Build and maintain a high-performance culture through effective performance management, communication, and coaching of staff.
  • Manage multiple projects, prioritize work, and balance strategic and tactical issues.
  • Establish appropriate training, development, and performance-based conditions for the business development and Marketing team.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with new and existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails.


Requirements:

  • BA/BSc/HND in marketing or other relevant fields; MBA (Marketing or Operations Management) gives an added advantage.
  • Minimum of  3-5 years of experience with a track record of developing comprehensive marketing, sales, and business development strategies.
  • Experience in Domestic and/or International Market on Medical Diagnostic and Radio-Diagnostic Market.
  • Should have prior experience in managing large teams of Sales, Presales, Direct Marketing, and Business development.
  • Ability to clinch large deals and chase a revenue target.
  • Experience in identifying and exploring New Geographies and sub-markets.
  • Experience in developing New Channels.
  • Experience in Client Management, client relationships, and corporate communication.


Location: Ibadan, Oyo State

Remuneration: NGN 300,000 - 350,000
