Job Summary
The Buyer will play a crucial role in growing transactional relationships with the vendors. The role will be responsible for negotiating terms and conditions of supply from vendors while aggregating market intelligence for buying decisions, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that procurement strategies are both inventive and cost-effective.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, contracts, terms, and deadlines with vendors and suppliers.
- Making inventory of current products
- Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
- Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms and prices.
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Keep a growing pool of products (chemicals, raw materials, ingredients, and commodities) locally and internationally
- Manage the Stock master list for effective pricing and cost management
- Ensure timely stock pickup/availability
- Liaise with the Technology and marketing team on campaigns for vendor stock sell-out.
- Develop cost management strategies and tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably Chemistry or Supply chain background or considerable related experience).
- At least 3 years experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- A person of high integrity.
- Must be a team player.
- Must be flexible.
