Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Operate a cash register to process customer transactions
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and coupons accurately
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cash register area and surrounding shelves
- Restock shelves and supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and customer satisfaction
- Follow company policies and procedures, including security and loss prevention
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds as needed
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- S.S.C.E, OND or equivalent required; previous cashier experience preferred
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash-handling software
