Job Summary

The Chief Technical Officer is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the organization, including software development, deployment, maintenance, and innovation. As the technology leader, the CTO ensures that Rednoxx’s technology strategy aligns with its business objectives while delivering cutting-edge solutions like the HealthDIS system to meet client needs.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement RedNoxx’s technology roadmap to align with business goals.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to enhance the performance and scalability of the HealthDIS system.
  • Lead the strategy for continuous system improvement, ensuring compliance with international standards. 
  • Oversee the end-to-end development, testing, and deployment of HealthDIS and other software solutions.
  • Manage the team of software developers to deliver high-quality and timely releases.
  • Ensure robust version control, documentation, and coding practices.
  • Supervise day-to-day technical operations, including system support, backups, updates, and disaster recovery.
  • Implement and enforce best practices for software security, data integrity, and system uptime.
  • Optimize infrastructure to support efficient operations at deployed client sites.
  • Mentor and manage the technical team, including software developers, technical support officers, and consultants.
  • Build the capacity of the team through training and professional development initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the technical team.
  • Work closely with the Business Development Manager to understand client requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Act as a technical liaison with clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction with deployed solutions.
  • Represent the technology function in high-level stakeholder meetings.
  • Monitor system performance, user feedback, and market trends to refine technical strategies.
  • Provide regular updates to the CEO and Board on technical achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Develop and present technical progress reports, including metrics on deployment, uptime, and user satisfaction.
  • Drive innovation by researching and incorporating advanced technologies into the company’s offerings.
  • Lead initiatives for the localization of software for expansion into new markets, including Francophone and English-speaking West Africa.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years in software development, system architecture, or technology leadership roles.
  • Proven experience managing teams and large-scale software deployment projects.
  • Expertise in PHP, MySQL, and relevant frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, disaster recovery, and data security.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Remuneration: NGN 1 Million - 1.5 Million
