Civil Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the project construction from start to finish on day to day basis.
• Construction of project as per project plan, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
• Create teams, develop objectives/goals of each and assign individual responsibilities.
• Adhere to project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control throughout the project and minimize exposure and risk on the project.
• Ensure that construction activities move according to predetermined schedule.
• Suggest revisions as and when the need arises.
• Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include client, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors and laborers
• Monitor progress of construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all the sub-teams.
• Maintain strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate project records, including plans, progress reports, and change orders
• Identify the elements of project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate must have a bachelor degree in civil engineering.
• Must have 8 – 10 year experience in bridge construction, Highways construction and concrete structures.
• Must have experience in project management software such as MS projects etc.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulation
• Must be member of the COREN certified engineer
