Cloud Security Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement incident response plans specific to cloud environments, ensuring rapid containment and recovery
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security standards.
• Implement cloud security best practices, such as identity and access management (IAM), encryption, firewalls, and monitoring for compliance with security policies.
• Provide technical support to development teams in deploying, managing, and scaling cloud-based applications.
• Work closely with teams to prioritize and remediate identified vulnerabilities, ensuring minimal exposure to threats.
• Develop and implement automation scripts using tools such as Terraform for efficient deployment and management of cloud resources.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate risks within the cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure sensitive data stored in the cloud is encrypted both in transit and at rest using tools like Azure Key Vault. 

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Comptia Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, etc
• Experience: 1-5 years of experience as a cybersecurity analyst, network engineer, devops engineer, cloud engineer, or a similar role in a security operations environment.

  
  

TechnicalSkills:

• Knowledge in setting up secure access controls, roles, and policies to enforce least-privilege principles on OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Proficient in leveraging Cloud Guard for real-time monitoring, threat detection, and security recommendations across Oracle resources.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automating cloud infrastructure tasks.
• Knowledge of secure access mechanisms to sensitive cloud resources using OCI Bastion service is required.
• Expertise in OCI Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), subnets, and security rules to secure cloud-hosted resources.
• Proficiency in orchestrating containerized applications using Kubernetes, including deploying, scaling, and managing clusters.
