Contract/Proposal Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Proposal Development: Lead the development of proposals, including technical and commercial aspects, to ensure compliance with client requirements and company standards.Presentation engagement and follow-up
• Contract Management: Manage contracts, including negotiation, execution, and administration, to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.
• Tender Management: Lead the tender process, including bid preparation, submission, and evaluation, to ensure compliance with client requirements and company standards.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and sales teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts and proposals to ensure company interests are protected.

Requirements:

• Technical Background: Degree in Engineering, preferably in a relevant field such as Petroleum, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Contract Management Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in contract management, proposal development, and tender management in the oil and gas industry.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical and commercial concepts to various stakeholders.
• Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as contract management or project management certifications, are desirable.
• Experience with Oil and Gas Clients: Experience working with oil and gas clients, including major operators and contractors.
• Knowledge of Industry Standards: Familiarity with industry standards, such as FIDIC, LOGIC, and AACE.

Remuneration: NGN 500,000 Net above
