The ideal candidate will build profitable sales of the company’s products and services to new and existing customers, achieving the revenue target set by the Head, of Business Development.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Build a rich pipeline of customers and ensure month-on-month growth of customer acquisitions, revenue, and retention.
  • Preparing presentations, proposals, and sales contracts to a range of prospective clients.
  • Obtaining deposits and balance of payments from clients
  • Achieve customer acquisition, revenue, ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) and retention target
  • Acquisition of subscribers from corporate, public, and SME organizations within allocated sectors/regions.
  • Promote our customer value propositions to the target customers through effective engagements ensuring product availability within the consumer reach and gaining market share from the competition.
  • Expedite the resolution of all customer complaints to maximize satisfaction and manage monthly churn at 2%
  • Engage customer leads through cold calls, digital marketing, email marketing, and prospective visitations.
  • Timely rendition of weekly and monthly reports of sales performance to the supervisor.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in trade marketing, consumer marketing, and product development in the financial sector
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related fields
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Good analytic, report writing, and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of the business process


Key Performance Indicators 

  • Build a rich pipeline of customers
  • Minimum of 20 new potential leads per week
  • Sales Targets (Deposits & Loans Incremental Revenue Generation)
  • Minimum performance record of 85% Revenue growth based on agreed targets per week must be achieved.
  • Quality Customer Acquisition
  • 40% ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) customer acquisitions based on agreed targets
  • Customer Retention
  • 2% churn (i.e Attritional pipeline)
  • Prompt submission of weekly and monthly reports on sales performance to Supervisor lead & management
  • Last working day of every week and month
  • Speedy conversion of potential requests on loans and deposits
  • 75% of approved weekly prospects must be achieved
