Job Summary

The Customer Relationship Managers (CRMs) will be responsible for drivin sales by building and maintaining relationships with sellers (our customers). Acting as the face of the company, they will ensure excellent service delivery, guide sellers in purchasing decisions, and support their business growth. This role combines sales, customer support, and strategic relationship management to achieve sales targets and foster long-term partnerships.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Sales Management:

  • Actively sell products to sellers, focusing on wholesale customers.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through direct engagement and upselling strategies.
  • Pre-sell 70% of each shipment before goods arrive in the warehouse.
  • Maintain knowledge of the product catalogue to effectively guide sellers.


Customer Relationship Management:

  • Develop strong relationships with sellers, understanding their specific needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.
  • Provide personalised recommendations to help sellers grow their businesses.
  • Regularly check in with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.


Market Research & Feedback:

  • Monitor market trends and customer preferences to refine sales strategies.
  • Gather feedback from sellers on product quality, pricing, and service delivery.
  • Communicate insights to management for continuous improvement.


Operational Support:

  • Coordinate with the logistics and storage teams to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Track inventory levels to align customer orders with available stock.
  • Support the sorting process by identifying high-demand products for priority allocation.


Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Submit weekly reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan customer engagement activities.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years in sales, customer service, or a related role.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with negotiation abilities.
  • Customer-first approach to service.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in basic digital tools (email, CRM software).
  • Willingness to travel locally for customer visits.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Monthly sales revenue achieved (target: XX)
  • Percentage of pre-sold goods from shipments (target: 70%)
  • Number of new customers onboarded per month.
  • Customer retention rate and satisfaction scores.
  • Feedback quality and implementation rate.


Location: Nigeria (On-site)

Remuneration: NGN 250,000 Net
