The Digital Marketer will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies to enhance Polaris Integrated and Geosolutions Limited’s online presence and brand visibility, attract and engage target audiences, and drive lead generation and generate leads within the mining, construction, and oil and gas industries

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify target audience segments, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies that support PIGL’s business objectives, including increasing brand awareness, generating leads, and driving sales.
  • Goal Setting: Define clear marketing goals and KPIs aligned with PIGL’s overall business strategy and monitor progress towards achieving them.


Content Creation:

  • Content Strategy: Create a content calendar that outlines content topics, formats, and publication schedules for various digital channels, including the company website, blogs, social media, and email.
  • Content Development: Write, design, and produce high-quality content such as blog posts, articles, infographics, videos, and social media updates that resonate with the target audience.
  • Content Optimization: Ensure all content is optimized for search engines (SEO) and aligns with PIGL’s branding guidelines and messaging.


Campaign Management:

  • Campaign Planning: Develop detailed plans for digital marketing campaigns, including objectives, target audiences, key messages, and budget allocations.
  • Execution and Monitoring: Launch and manage digital campaigns across various platforms such as Google Ads, social media, and email marketing, ensuring they run smoothly and within budget.
  • Performance Tracking: Continuously monitor campaign performance using analytics tools, adjusting strategies and tactics as needed to improve results.


SEO and SEM:

  • SEO Strategy: Conduct keyword research and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve the visibility and ranking of PIGL’s website in search engine results.#
  • SEM Management: Manage and optimize advertising campaigns, including setting up ad groups, selecting keywords, writing ad copy, and analyzing performance.
  • Analytics: Use tools like Google Analytics to track and report on SEO and SEM performance, identifying areas for improvement and growth.


Social Media Management:

  • Platform Management: Oversee PIGL’s social media profiles on platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, ensuring they are regularly updated with engaging content.
  • Community Engagement: Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive online community around the PIGL brand.
  • Social Media Analytics: Analyze social media metrics to gauge the effectiveness of posts and campaigns, and adjust strategies based on insights and trends.


Analytics and Reporting:

  • Performance Analysis: Track and measure the success of digital marketing initiatives using analytics tools to assess metrics such as website traffic, conversion rates, and campaign ROI.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on digital marketing performance, including insights, recommendations, and action plans for improvement.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Use data and analytics to make informed decisions about marketing strategies and adjustments.


Market Research:

  • Trend Identification: Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure PIGL’s strategies are innovative and effective.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct regular analyses of competitors’ digital marketing strategies to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for PIGL.
  • Customer Insights: Gather and analyze customer feedback and behavior data to inform marketing strategies and improve customer engagement.


Collaboration:

  • Cross-functional coordination: Work closely with the sales team, product managers, and other departments to align digital marketing efforts with overall business goals and initiatives.
  • Content Collaboration: Coordinate with graphic designers, videographers, and other content creators to produce high-quality marketing materials.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open communication with stakeholders to ensure that digital marketing activities are aligned with PIGL’s objectives and priorities.


Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Digital Marketing Expertise: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in digital marketing with a proven track record of managing successful campaigns across various platforms (Google Ads, social media, email marketing).
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager), and familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • SEO & SEM Skills: Strong understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) techniques and search engine marketing (SEM) strategies, with the ability to implement and monitor effective SEO/SEM campaigns.
  • Analytical Abilities: Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation using tools such as Google Analytics, with the capability to extract actionable insights to optimize marketing strategies and measure campaign performance.
  • Content Creation: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in creating engaging and persuasive content for websites, social media, blogs, and email campaigns.
  • Creativity & Innovation: Ability to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies and creative content that captures the target audience’s attention and drives engagement.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Market Research: Experience in conducting thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, understand customer behavior, and stay ahead of competitors.
  • Collaboration: Effective team player with the ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and other departments to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and market conditions, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
