Job Description/Requirements











As a Direct Sales Agent, you will play a crucial role in promoting the bank's products and services, driving customer acquisition, and fostering long-term customer relationships. You will serve as the first point of contact between the bank and its prospective clients, focusing on understanding customer needs and providing tailored financial solutions.









Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Marketing:
    • Identify and approach potential customers to offer savings, loans, and other financial products.
    • Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Promote the bank's products through door-to-door marketing, fieldwork, and referrals.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to enhance loyalty and customer retention.
    • Gather feedback from customers and provide insights to improve service delivery.
  • Product Knowledge:
    • Gain in-depth knowledge of the bank's offerings and services to provide accurate information to customers.
    • Educate clients on financial products, repayment terms, and benefits.
  • Market Research:
    • Identify market trends and opportunities to expand the bank's customer base.
    • Provide input to management about customer demands and competition.
  • Operational Duties:
    • Assist customers in opening accounts and completing necessary documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the bank's policies during customer onboarding.
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and submit them to the supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of a high school diploma (BSc/HND in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus).
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets under minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in local languages and knowledge of the target market is an advantage.
