Job Summary
We are currently seeking an Electrical Technician at our facility in Awka, Anambra State, to effectively manage and perform all electrical repairs and maintenance, ensuring the smooth and safe operation of electrical systems on the company's shop floor.
- Minimum Qualification : OND
- Experience Level : Mid level
- Experience Length : 3 years
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Perform all electrical repairs and maintenance on the shop floor.
- Install, inspect, and troubleshoot electrical systems, equipment, and components.
- Ensure that all electrical systems are operating efficiently and safely.
- Conduct routine maintenance and preventive measures to prevent equipment failures.
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and perform necessary repairs.
- Maintain detailed records of all electrical work, including repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards, and safety regulations.
- Assist in the design and implementation of new electrical systems and upgrades.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on safe electrical practices and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
- Technical degree or certification in electrical engineering, electrical technology, or a related field.
- A least 3 years experience as an Electrical Technician or in a similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
- Certification or license as an electrician is preferred.
