Job Summary
The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact on all matters pertaining to the Office of the MD. The Executive Assistant organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts and oversees special projects. The Ideal Individual must be creative and enjoy working in an environment that is mission and results-driven. The Executive Assistant should have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills. The Individual must possess the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities and be able to work independently on projects, from conception to completion. Should possess the ability to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for the MD including managing an active calendar of appointments
- Compose and prepare correspondence that is sometimes confidential
- Liaise with MD for detailed travel plans and compile documents for travel-related meetings.
- Plan, coordinate, and ensure the MD's schedule is followed and respected.
- Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the MD and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support with senior management staff.
- Manage a variety of special projects (i.e. PR Agencies) for the MD some of which may have organizational impact.
- Draft acknowledgment letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks.
- Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, and proactively, and follow through on projects to successful completion often with deadline pressures.
Requirements:
- BSC or HND
- 2-4 years
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, word, excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and social media Web Platforms.
- Experience and interest in Internal and external communication
- Candidates should be open to traveling.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
- Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, and external stakeholders
- Expert-level written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate proactive approaches to problem-solving with a strong decision-making capability
- Emotional maturity
- Highly resourceful team player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
- Demonstrate ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
