Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Facilities Officer to monitor and inspect all offices on a daily basis and revert with observed deficiencies in the facilities in the offices, toilets, common areas, etc. He/She shall be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well-functioning.
- Minimum Qualification : HND
- Experience Level : Mid level
- Experience Length : 4 years
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
- Daily inspect the offices, toilets, and all common areas and revert with a report of any observed deficiencies for prompt fixing.
- Monitor and keep a record of all first aid boxes to ensure that they are well stocked.
- Control activities like parking space allocation, water consumption, building security, etc.
- Allocate office space according to needs
- Ensures that buildings and grounds are clean.
- Manage Janitorial Staff
Requirements:
- 4-5 years experience in this role or a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Good analytical/critical thinking
- OND/BSC in facility management, business administration or relevant field
- Relevant professional qualifications will be an advantage
- Proactive and transparent, constantly thinking about prevention
