Factory Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Budgeting and budgetary reviews, financial controls, reporting and other financial management processes
• Review and ensure proper approvals for all payments, ensuring proper classification and coding for all transactions including the petty cash system and reimbursements.
• Periodically access the company's financial management needs and current capabilities, determines proactively gaps and develops plans to bridge them
• Organize and Oversees the company overall finance function, attract key talents to form a formidable finance structure to ensure close alignment to business needs and changes in processes.
• Develop/Supervise robust and effective business strategies and plans that will support full process optimization with strong process assurance to expose and minimize loss and leakages
• Full responsibility and custody of the general ledger, the includes maintenance of the Ac counts Payable and Receivables, Bank  reconciliations, Inventory Management and movement reconciliations
• Ensures development of strong finance capability (an ability to translate business decisions into numbers/financial metrics) precisely analyzes results of bakery operations, determines variances from standard, and takes corrective action as needed.
• Provide stewardship for the business internal control framework and process assurance, supporting the business for effective compliance with both internal policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements 
• Manage flawlessly, annual statutory audits and tax compliance audit processes

Requirements:

• Bsc/HND in Accounting or related field 
• ACA/ACCA is compulsory
• Minimum of three (3) years post qualifications work experience in core manufacturing company( Experience in Management Accounting will be an added advantage)
• Must be conversant with an ERP (QuickBooks preferable) and very proficient in MS office
