Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Staff Management:

  • Supervise, train, and schedule station attendants.
  • Ensure all staff adhere to company policies and safety standards

Customer Service:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing complaints and resolving issues promptly.
  • Oversee customer service operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor fuel levels and ensure timely reordering to avoid stockouts.
  • Manage inventory of other station products such as lubricants, snacks, and accessories.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile with sales records.

Financial Management:

  • Manage daily cash flow, including deposits and reconciliation of sales.
  • Monitor expenses to ensure the station operates within budget.
  • Prepare financial reports and submit them to the senior management.

Health, Safety, and Compliance:

  • Ensure the station complies with all safety regulations and environmental standards.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and maintain safety records.
  • Train staff on emergency procedures and ensure readiness for any potential incidents.

Maintenance:

  • Oversee the maintenance of equipment and facilities, ensuring they are in good working order.
  • Coordinate repairs and regular servicing of pumps, tanks, and other station equipment.

Sales and Marketing:

  • Implement strategies to boost sales and attract more customers.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure promotional materials and advertisements are displayed effectively.

Reporting:

  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, inventory, and financials.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on the station’s performance.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in the retail or petroleum industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage financial records and perform basic accounting tasks.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations in the petroleum industry.
