Job Summary
Are you a passionate and knowledgeable football enthusiast looking to make a positive impact on young players? Help the Talent Academy is seeking Coaching Apprentices to join our growing Football academy. In this role, you will play a vital role in developing our talented players who are between the ages of 13 and 17, both on and off the pitch whilst working alongside the Head Coach to deliver high-quality coaching, and training and to help implement our mission to DISCOVER great talent, DEVELOP great skills, and DEPLOY our talents to the best teams. The successful candidates will be trained to lead sessions independently to ensure children enjoy the activities whilst developing their skills and understanding of the game. We pride ourselves on our coaches being approachable role models to children.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Organising and scheduling tryouts and shortlisting of potential players
- Recognising individual player abilities, strengths, and weaknesses and factoring this acquired knowledge into the gameplay and strategy sessions.
- Planning and delivering engaging training sessions to improve players' technical abilities and tactical understanding
- Analysing player performances and providing constructive feedback to players to enhance their development
- Developing and implementing effective coaching strategies to maximise team performance
- Motivate and inspire players to achieve their full potential on and off the field
- Organise fixtures, tournaments, and matches for the team
- Fostering good sportsmanship in all team players, resolving disputes, and addressing bad behaviour in a timely manner.
- Identifying exceptional players who might be scouted for scholarships and to play in professional leagues.
- Ensuring all sports equipment is available and in working order.
- Collaborating with the scouting team to bring in talents for the HTT
- Selecting the team for games and motivating players
Requirements:
- Experience working with children is preferred but not required. We will provide training to all new hires
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
- Ability to build a strong rapport with colleagues and participants with varying needs.
- Confident in delivering a range of activities
- Disciplined self-starter with a positive attitude
- Passion for football and in-depth knowledge of the game.
- A team player and the ability to work flexibly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong management, organizational, motivational, and strategizing skills.
