Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the salon and café to ensure smooth functioning.
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, cleanliness, and service standards.
- Manage the salon and café schedules, ensuring adequate staffing for peak hours.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff across all departments.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals and updates.
- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive, professional, and customer-focused work environment.
Customer Service:
- Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve any escalated client concerns.
- Monitor client feedback and implement strategies to enhance the customer experience.
Financial Management:
- Manage budgets, track expenses, and analyze financial performance.
- Monitor revenue and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring adequate stock levels while controlling costs.
- Handle vendor negotiations and maintain relationships with suppliers.
Marketing and Growth:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives.
- Drive customer retention and acquisition through innovative strategies.
- Monitor social media and in-salon marketing to boost brand visibility.
Facility Management:
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, and overall upkeep of the salon and café premises.
- Ensure all equipment and tools are in excellent working condition.
- Monitor and manage diesel usage and generator operations, including timings and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3–5+ years) in management, preferably in the beauty, hospitality, or retail industry.
- Strong understanding of salon/café operations and customer service excellence
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and expense management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with salon software systems.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and social media engagement.
