Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and execute events, such as conferences, seminars, product launches, and corporate social events
- Coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, marketing, and budgeting.
- Be the engine house for driving organizational goals and objectives internally.
- Develop policies, processes, and people-oriented activities to ensure UP meets the standards of a global organization.
- Take ownership of driving the company's CSR initiatives both internally and externally.
- Define and execute internal communications strategy and policies.
- Ensure communication of the department’s strategic direction and objectives to all staff.
- Contribute to the overall achievement of the organization’s mission & vision through effective staff engagement.
- Responsible for executive staff profiling and management on internal channels.
- Ensure that individual and teamwork reflect the tenets of the organization's culture and values.
- Keep abreast of global best practices and make recommendations on how they impact the unit’s role.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Develop a strategic plan for ensuring staff alignment with management.
- Support in the planning and development of annual Marketing and Communications activities for the Group.
- Enforce brand consistency on all internal channels and platforms.
- Develop a robust and effective execution roadmap for events management (strategy).
- Create and plan events to foster networking opportunities.
- Determine strategic opportunities for success that may include sponsorships, speaking engagements, roundtable discussions, breakouts, and innovative sessions.
- Collaborate and coordinate with subsidiaries in the planning and production of events and sponsorships as applied for each business.
- Maintain a group-wide calendar of events and sponsorship activities.
- Implement a system that enables mid and long-term planning and effective execution of events and sponsorships for the company.
- Manage a group-wide calendar of activities and events to ensure harmony and efficiency.
- Ensure appropriate branding at all events.
- Source and promote opportunities to drive awareness, sales opportunities, and improve brand perception to strengthen Unified Payments' image.
- Plan, organize, and drive various CRS initiatives for the enhancement of the Group’s performance, including timely disclosure of our CRS performance in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and execute CRS programs as well as conduct periodic assessments to determine outcomes and effectiveness.
- Maintain the security of all information entrusted to you, and ensure full compliance with all principles and policies in the IS Handbook.
- Any other related responsibilities as required or assigned.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or any related field. Relevant professional membership is desirable.
- 10 years of quality experience in a similar role.
- Highly developed attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Understanding of global principles and practices for this role.
- Ability to drive event outcomes with end-to-end technology.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Enterprise tools.
- Good knowledge and understanding of general marketing concepts.
- Prior experience managing a team is important.
- Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good report writing and presentation skills.
