Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Business Development, Funds, and Wealth Management for Treasury Sales within the Asset Management SBU
- Deposit mobilization (Institutional, Retail and Public Sector)
- Formulated strategies and plans around the institutional, retail, and public sector business to enable the organization to secure profitable business relationships.
- Identify potential sales growth opportunities across all business sectors and work with the portfolio management team to grow the Asset Under Management.
- Develop and manage customized investment portfolios and discretionary funds for institutions and corporates.
- Engage, build, and manage relationships with both new and prospective clients
- Actively contribute to the development and implementation of strategies geared towards the attainment of stated sales and distribution objectives of the firm and anchor several product development initiatives for a broad client base.
- Identify Business opportunities to generate from the financial institution's sector- insurance companies, pension funds administrators, investments &finance houses, and capital market operators as well as from the public sector
- Proactively engage, develop, onboard, and maintain strong relationships through regular contact and providing timely, value-added information, advice, and recommendations.
- Analyse of financial statements to establish viability of the investment proposals
- offer investment advisory services and deliver a wide range of investment solutions to clients
- Market a comprehensive range of financial products- structured deposits, treasury solutions, brokerage, and advisory services to potential clients across different states in Nigeria.
- Preparation of budget reports and reports on monthly performance reviews for the team and group.
- Other duties as assigned by the Managing Director
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in any Finance-related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience with an emphasis on asset management.
- Must have experience overseeing funds and managing portfolios
- The ideal candidate must have experience in investment management, financial planning, and advisory within the asset management industry.
- Good knowledge of and interest in the Financial Markets, as well as strong business and financial acumen.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
- Proven leadership, negotiating, and influencing skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent networking skills, particularly relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Strong results orientation and high attention to detail.

- Knowledge of the Asset Management Business

- Achieve 100% business and financial targets in Deposit
- Liability, Special Products, and Cross-Selling
- Personal Resumption Target of N500m (within 90 Days of Resumption) and N1.5BN for the Team.
