Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping team, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Develop cleaning schedules, inspection checklists, and operational SOPs to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and laundry facilities to ensure compliance with luxury hospitality standards.
- Monitor and manage housekeeping inventory, including linens, cleaning supplies, and toiletries.
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff to enhance efficiency, professionalism, and guest service etiquette.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and hotel policies.
- Collaborate with the front desk and maintenance teams to ensure timely room availability and guest satisfaction.
- Manage staff schedules, shift assignments, and attendance for optimal coverage.
- Address guest complaints and housekeeping-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Implement cost-control measures to optimize housekeeping operations and reduce waste.
Requirements:
- OND/ND in Hospitality Management, Facility Management, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably in a hotel or serviced apartment
