Job Summary
Henry Montego Homes is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant with 1-3 years of experience to support our human resources department. The HR Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions, including recruitment, employee onboarding, record management, and compliance with HR policies.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist in recruitment processes, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support employee onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a seamless integration into the organization.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
- Support payroll preparation by providing relevant employee information (e.g., leaves, attendance).
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other related topics.
- Coordinate and assist with staff training and development initiatives.
- Help organize employee engagement activities and events.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company regulations.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar HR role.
- Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- High attention to detail with strong data entry and record-keeping skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Knowledge of Nigerian labor laws is an added advantage
