Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and establish the HR department, including policies, systems, and procedures.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and staff development across both aviation and non-aviation roles.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and labor laws.
- Oversee employee relations, performance management, and talent development initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and fulfill staffing needs.
- Manage payroll, benefits, and other HR administrative functions.
- Foster a positive and compliant work environment aligned with aviation standards.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in the aviation industry.
- Good knowledge of aviation operations, HR practices, and compliance requirements.
- HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience in establishing or revamping an HR department is a plus.
- Experience in a start-up or growing organization is beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, employee engagement programs, and recruitment strategies in aviation.
