Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations of the three brands under AJ Skylar Limited namely: The Braiding Vault, Sshhh Lingerie, and The Vault Store. This includes recruitment, training, performance management and employee relations.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and onboarding of new employees, including stylists, assistants, management and administrative staff.
  • Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures in compliance with relevant labour laws and regulations.
  • Managing employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
  • Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to employees to support their professional development.
  • Planning and organizing training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Managing payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintaining employee records and ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Collaborating with management to identify staffing needs and develop strategies for talent acquisition and retention.
  • Monitoring and analyzing HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in HR management.


Requirements:

  • 3 years experience
  • Degree in a related field
  • Proven work experience as Human Resource Generalist or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws and regulations
  • Understanding of HR Policies
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office applications
  • Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data management
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
