Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the company's overall business objectives.
- Manage employee relations, address concerns, resolve conflicts, and promote a positive work culture.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they remain competitive and aligned with industry standards.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Provide guidance and support on performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee development.
- Ensure adherence to labour laws and industry regulations, and work to improve workplace safety and wellness.
- Analyse HR data and provide reports to senior management on trends, performance, and HR metrics.
- Lead or assist with HR projects aimed at improving organizational processes and employee satisfaction.
- Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities
- Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently
- Maintain company organization charts and employee directory
Requirements:
- Bachelors / Masters degree in Human Resource
- Minimum of 3 years experience in managing the HR Dept of a mid-sized to large organisation.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Excellent active listening, negotiation,and presentation skills
- In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices
