We are looking for a Human Resource Officer to manage HR functions such as employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, payroll processing e.t.c. This role ensures compliance with labor laws, fosters a positive work environment, and supports staff development while contributing to the achievement of organizational goals.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening applications, and conducting interviews. Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are well-integrated into the organization.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns. Foster a positive workplace culture by addressing conflicts and resolving issues promptly. Implement programs to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate learning opportunities for employees. Support career development initiatives and performance improvement plans.
- HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, including attendance, payroll, and performance reviews. Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations. Prepare and submit HR reports to management as required.
- Performance Management: Assist in setting performance goals and conducting appraisals. Monitor and support employees in achieving their objectives.
- Policy Implementation: Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures. Provide guidance to management and employees on HR best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in the food or FMCG sector.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g. CIPM)
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR practices.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Residential proximity to the Island is very crucial
Location: Ikota/Orchid Road, Lagos
Remuneration: NGN 150,000 Monthly
