Job Summary

The HR Officer is responsible for supporting the overall human resources operations, ensuring that the organization attracts, develops, and retains high-quality talent while fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture. This role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administrative tasks to align with the company’s goals and policies.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and post job advertisements on various platforms.
  • Screen, shortlist, and interview candidates in collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Manage the onboarding process, including preparation of offer letters, contracts, and induction programs.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing queries and resolving workplace issues promptly.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and mediate disputes to maintain a harmonious work environment.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture by organizing team-building activities and wellness programs.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of performance appraisal systems.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement and development plans.
  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate appropriate programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Assist in drafting, updating, and communicating HR policies and procedures.
  • Handle disciplinary actions, terminations, and grievance processes in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Oversee employee benefits enrollment and address related inquiries.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data confidentiality.
  • Manage and maintain accurate employee records in HR systems.
  • Assist in organizing and conducting company-wide meetings, training, and events.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of employee-related transactions.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar HR role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
