Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including advertising job openings, screening applications, and conducting interviews.
- Provide support in managing employee relations, including resolving conflicts, conducting investigations, and facilitating disciplinary actions.
- Assist in the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including employment standards, health and safety, and human rights.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data, including personnel files, attendance records, and performance evaluations.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees, management, and external partners, responding to inquiries and providing information on HR-related matters.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in human resources management.
- Strong knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and laws, including employment standards, health and safety, and human rights.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications, such as a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or a Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) certification, are an asset.
- Experience working in a construction company is an advantage in this role
