Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire inventory lifecycle, from procurement to final sale.
- Implement and maintain accurate inventory control systems.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts to reconcile system records.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and optimize stock levels.
- Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage strategies.
- Implement efficient warehouse processes to minimize handling time and costs.
- Ensure a safe and organized warehouse environment.
- Monitor supplier performance and identify potential supply chain disruptions.
- Optimize the supply chain to reduce lead times and improve efficiency.
- Monitor inventory holding costs and minimize write-offs.
- Lead and manage a team of warehouse and inventory staff.
- Provide training and development opportunities to team members.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory management and warehouse operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
