Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all technology operations and evaluate them according to established goals.
- Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management.
- Analyse the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.
- Purchase efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software.
- Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.
- Identify the need for upgrades, configurations, or new systems and report to upper management.
- Coordinate IT staff and supervise projects.
- Manage and support disaster recovery and backup systems and Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems.
- Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions on time.
- Audit systems and assess their outcomes, Preserve assets, information security, and control structures.
- Handle annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with current technology trends and issues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role.
- Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications.
- Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, etc.
- Experience in controlling information technology budget.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication abilities.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field; MSc/MBA will be a plus.
- Experience in the betting or gaming
- Industry is preferred but not required.
