Junior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, measure quantities, and verify the accuracy of work completed.
• Assist in the preparation and evaluation of tender documents, contracts, and procurement processes.
• Work with project managers and senior quantity surveyors to manage project costs and ensure budgetary control.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and project documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly valuations and progress claims.
• Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to obtain necessary information and ensure smooth project execution.
• Assist in resolving any contractual or financial disputes that may arise during the project.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
