Job Summary

As the Learning & Performance Manager, you will design, implement, and manage training programs that enhance employee skills, drive performance excellence, and align with the organization's strategic goals. You will work closely with department heads and employees to develop a tailored learning and development framework and a robust performance management system to support growth, engagement, and productivity. Your role will ensure that performance evaluations and development plans are systematically executed to foster a high-performance culture within the organization.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute the L&D strategy to close skill gaps, support career growth, and enhance technical competencies.
  • Conduct comprehensive training needs assessments with department heads to identify gaps and growth areas across roles, tailoring solutions to enhance team performance and productivity.
  • Design and facilitate diverse training programs, including workshops, e-learning modules, and on-the-job training to drive knowledge retention and practical application.
  • Develop curriculum and content for various staff audiences and delivery methods to include both synchronous and asynchronous learning.
  • Lead initiatives to develop high-potential employees; including mentoring programs, leadership training, and career pathways that promote internal growth and retention.
  • Partner with internal subject matter experts and external vendors to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
  • Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with external training providers and consultants to ensure cost-effective and high-quality learning solutions.
  • Implement a structured onboarding and orientation program for new hires to ensure seamless integration into the company's culture and business processes.
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through metrics like participant feedback, post-training assessments, and performance improvements, ensuring that training objectives are met and impact is measured through performance improvements and employee feedback.
  • Develop and implement the organization's performance management strategy to foster a results-driven culture, aligning the processes with organizational and departmental goals.
  • Collaborate with department heads and managers to set measurable goals, encourage continuous feedback, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Lead initiatives to establish clear, measurable performance indicators for each role level, providing employees with a transparent view of expectations and growth pathways.
  • Oversee the end-to-end performance review cycle, including setting timelines, coordinating appraisals, and providing support to managers to conduct effective evaluations.
  • Ensure that managers are equipped with the tools, training, and guidance needed to conduct effective performance evaluations, identify high-potential employees, and manage underperformance constructively.
  • Implement structured talent reviews to identify top performers, support succession planning, and ensure that critical roles are proactively supported with a talent pipeline.
  • Facilitate performance calibration sessions with department heads to ensure consistency and fairness in assessments, rewards, and recognition practices.
  • Utilize data and analytics from performance management tools to identify trends, inform talent decisions, and continuously improve the brand's performance strategy.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Learning & Development and performance management roles, with a strong background in B2B or relevant industry sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing training programs and performance management systems within a fast-paced or evolving organization.
  • Strong understanding of competency frameworks, talent development strategies, and employee performance appraisal techniques.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and performance management software.
