Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Legal Research Assistant. The successful candidate will provide crucial support to our legal team by conducting in-depth research, analyzing case law, statutes, and other relevant information and assisting with preparing legal documents.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research on various topics using online databases, law libraries, and other available resources
- Analyze and summarize case law, statutes, regulations, and other legal materials
- Assist in preparing drafts of legal briefs, agreements, and other documents
- Stay current with changes in laws or regulations that may affect the company's operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Having been called to the Nigerian Bar is a plus
- Strong understanding of legal research methods and familiarity with relevant databases (e.g., Westlaw or LexisNexis)
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce clear and concise summaries of complex legal issues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
- Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment
